CHROMATIC STRATA
In the Olympos series, the landscape is treated as a source of pure form. Mountain ridges become contours, and natural terrain transforms into planes of color. Rather than imposing abstraction onto the image, the work reveals the abstract structures already present within the landscape. The soft atmospheric blues remain photographic while the upper layers flatten into color fields, creating a visual tension between depth and surface as the work moves gradually toward pure color and abstraction.
