WHISPERS OF DECO
Whispers of Deco is an homage to the quiet endurance of New York’s Art Deco skyline — those towers of ambition that once embodied the promise of modernity. Stripped of their urban surroundings and set against fields of pure color, these buildings transcend their function to become symbols of grace, resilience, and design as poetry.
Within my broader body of work, Whispers of Deco continues my search for stillness within form — for the point where architecture ceases to be structure and becomes emotion. Just as When Time Melts dissolves reality through reflection and Utopian Dreams reimagines the city as an abstract state of mind, Whispers of Deco isolates the pure geometry of time — its rhythm, repetition, and quiet pulse.
Each building becomes a solitary figure: elegant, self-contained, and alive with memory. Through this isolation, I listen for what remains when noise fades — the subtle hum of beauty, endurance, and light that survives beyond time itself.
