What the Photographs Mean to the Artist:
We all have a place where we find ourselves. I have had two homes for most of my life: Turkey and the US. My heart however belongs to the Mediterranean coast of my childhood. Every summer I visit this same place on the southern coast of Turkey. A miracle of nature where you can almost see earth as it was created millions of years ago - before all the human destruction began. This is where I can dive into the sea and swim with thousands of fish. This is where my soul, heart and mind find peace. This is where I dream what the world could have been.
