What the Photographs Mean to the Artist:
I love to play with color in my photography. In this series, I am capturing one of my favorite places in the world - the Reservoir in New York City - in the way I imagine and feel it. The reservoir is a few blocks away from where I live. I go for a run or a walk around it every day - rain, snow or shine - because it has a dreamy setting that makes me feel I am in another part of the world - not in the middle of an urban city. The colors of the water and the sky change every day, and I never get tired of capturing the reflection of the city's skyline on the pond.
